I write a lot — features, opinion, reviews, analysis — and for a number of different publications. Most recently, my work has appeared in Time, the i paper, the New European, the Times Literary Supplement and the Green European Journal.

For 14 years I wrote and edited for the Guardian, chiefly about politics: I deputy edited Comment is Free, edited Guardian Law, and sometimes wrote leader columns.

I also guest on live radio and podcasts, including Times Radio, LBC and ABC Late Night Live, and chair and appear at live events and discussion panels.

I speak pretty good French — I have an MPhil in French literature — and basic Spanish.
